Wendi Taylor is a longtime Dunwoody neighbor with decades of professional experience in engineering, design, project management, manufacturing, logistics, and international business consulting. Alongside her career, she has devoted herself to volunteer service—sourcing food for hunger relief organizations, running nonprofits at home and abroad, advocating for children in DFCS care as a CASA, donating blood and platelets, and even traveling overseas to places like Afghanistan, Albania, Kosovo, and Philippines to support people in need. Her leadership has even helped change Georgia law by eliminating the state’s inventory tax.
“I’m running for the Dunwoody City Council Post 3 because I care deeply about the quality of life in our community. Dunwoody’s City Council has recently approved plans and projects that will balloon the budget, harm affordability, and diminish the character of our neighborhoods. Too often, council members, including my opponent, have acted like Bobbleheads, approving proposals without weighing costs against community benefits. When voters rejected a $60 million bond in a 2023 referendum, the Council doubled down on the rejected project spending, rather than respecting the will of the people. I will be a watchdog for your interests, a careful steward of public funds, and a representative who truly listens."
